Frauds lows - making safety equipment ineffective.

Its hard to think of a fraud that is more potentially damaging than that affecting the efficiency of safety equipment. 

This case in Wales is of a supplier of gases used in fire extinguishers in the airline industry is harrowing. The supplier used gases that were not to standard in an £320k fraud on his customers. 

More than 15,000 fire extinguishers were taken out of airplanes because the halon gas he supplied to fight aircraft fires did not meet the required specifications.

Thankfully there is no known impact to people of the fraud but its still inexcusable. In these times every business needs to get the best from its customers, but defrauding them is a sure way to bankruptcy.
