Retailers can be still open to simple frauds. Like this guy on crimestoppers website Appeal for help in tracing a man who is thought to have carried out a series of frauds at Wickes stores across the sout east.
On more than 35 occasions Wickes stores have been defrauded by a man who takes items off the shelf and goes to the till to gain a refund for a product he has not bought.
It is thought that 37 frauds totaling around £9,000 have taken place. A costly refund policy for Wickes, by allowing refunds without receipts for lots of genuine customers will be seen as great customer service, for the fraudster its an opportunity.

This gent is wanted in connection with refunds in Boots. -->
